How we handle your information

Who we are

Three Leaf Contracting Inc. is a flooring contractor based in Calgary, Alberta. This policy covers personal information handled through threeleafcontracting.com. We operate under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act and, where it applies, Canada's PIPEDA.

What we collect and why

• Contact form: your name, email, optional phone number and message, used to answer your enquiry.
• Fitting bookings: your name, contact details, address, project details, preferred date and arrival window, and any notes or room photo file names you provide, used to schedule and complete the measure.
• Quote requests: your contact details, project information and any saved visualizer preview you attach, used to prepare your quote.
• Client portal accounts: an account is created when you book, so you can follow your project. It holds your bookings, messages with our team, orders, payments, documents and saved previews.
• Flooring Visualizer: room photos you upload are processed to preview flooring. Processing happens on your device and on our servers; a photo is stored to your account only if you choose to save a preview. Saved previews are private to your account.
• Orders and payments: order details and payment status. Card details go directly to our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Technical diagnostics: the visualizer reports anonymous technical facts (timings, image dimensions, error categories) so we can fix failures. These reports never include your photos or any account information.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the site: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Stripe (payment processing) and Resend (email delivery for booking confirmations, portal invitations and replies). Each processes information only to provide its service to us. These providers may process data outside Canada (including in the United States); by using the site you acknowledge that processing. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

Cookies

The site uses necessary cookies and on-device storage only; there are no analytics or advertising trackers. The full list is in the cookie policy, and you can review your choices in the cookie preference centre.

Marketing email

We send transactional email only: booking confirmations, portal invitations, quote and order updates, and replies to your messages. We do not operate a marketing mailing list. If we ever introduce one, subscribing will be a separate, unchecked choice with a working unsubscribe, as Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) requires, and it will never be bundled with a booking, a quote or a cookie choice.

Retention

We keep booking, quote, order and portal records while your account is active and as needed for warranty service (our workmanship guarantee runs two years), accounting and legal obligations. Sign-in cookies last for your session; cart contents stay on your device until you clear them or complete an order. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove or de-identify personal information that we are not legally required to keep.

Safeguards

Portal data is protected by authenticated, per-account access controls (row-level security), room photos and documents live in private storage accessed through short-lived signed links, payment pages run through Stripe, and the site is served over HTTPS with modern browser security headers.

Your choices and rights

• Access or correct your information from the client portal, or by contacting us.
• Withdraw cookie consent any time from the preference centre.
• Ask us to delete saved previews, room photos or your account by contacting us; we will confirm what was removed and anything we must retain.
• If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change, we will update this page and the date above. A material change to cookie use re-opens the cookie banner so you can decide again.
